A hands-on building renovations expert, you are skilled in managing reno projects and tradespeople.
You can assist in planning the project, sourcing the right tradespeople and vendors, tracking, and staying within budget and ensuring overall work quality.
What you'll do
Demo:
Assist with demolition work, including removing old fixtures, walls, and flooring.
Installations:
Measure, cut, and install materials such as drywall, insulation, flooring, and trim.
Carpentry:
Assist with carpentry work such as framing, installing cabinetry, and finishing work.
Finishing:
Paint and finish surfaces such as walls, ceilings, and trim.
Maintenance:
Clean and maintain job site and tools.
Communicate and Collaborate:
Communicate effectively with project managers and other team members.
Office Operations:
Perform day-to-day operations management tasks, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the office.
Safety:
Maintain a safe work area, including implementing safety measures and providing protective gear.
What you've got
- Passion with a Mayk it happen attitude and a keen eye for detail
- Strong technical skills, as well as the ability to work with others and communicate effectively
- Deep understanding of construction techniques and materials, as well as excellent problemsolving skills
- College, university or equivalent
- Previous experience in construction or renovation work.
- Knowledge of various tools and equipment used in renovation work.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
