What You Will Do:


The Service Solutions Representative works closely with our Sales and Services teams to sell services to both prospects and existing clients.

Reporting to the Regional Vice President, Sales Solutions, this person will participate in the new and renewal sales cycle to understand the service requirements associated with all new opportunities, define the work effort and associated scope of service, position the value of the services with the prospect/client, and work to close the opportunities in a timely manner.

Knowledge of services and your ability to interact in a sales capacity is essential to the success of this role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Sales and Services teams on services sales opportunities related to implementation of new modules, Premier Success Plans, technical services related to support and data engineering projects, and other service opportunities presented during client management.
  • Develop and maintain an accurate services sales pipeline in Salesforce.
  • Achieve targets for services sales as defined in the annual revenue budget.
  • Complete order forms for addon requirements identified by the services teams, e.g. CSV which wasn't part of initial sale, additional hours related to change in scope or project overages, system health checks, and other service offerings.
  • Gather requirements, define the Statement of Work, scope the work effort and pricing, and present the valueadd to the prospect/client in terms of outcomes and ROI.
  • Manage and followup on services opportunities, bringing those opportunities to closure on a timely basis.
  • Provide assistance to both the Sales and Services teams with respect to discussions and presentations that require service support.
  • Provide education and support to the Sales team on service offerings, while keeping the Sales team abreast of information that is relevant to their work.
  • Manage and prepare the services components of any Request for Proposal (RFP) bid responses.
  • Maintain product and services knowledge in all RLDatix modules so that optimal service recommendations can be made.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the processes related to the delivery of services.
  • Work with Marketing to develop any campaigns and promotions related to services.

Experience/Knowledge/Competencies You Will Need:


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales of RL6 (software and services) to new and existing clients.
  • Excellent presentation skills to deal effectively with all levels of prospects, clients, and internal staff.
  • Engaging and energetic personality with the ability to connect easily with others without benefit of previous introductions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with business acumen and a demonstrated ability to communicate in a professional manner.
  • Highly reliable and selfmotivated to meet goals and revenue targets
  • Exceptional teamwork, organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a fastpaced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to travel as required.
