The Lot Attendant assists with service check-in, valets vehicles including washing cars and provides general lot supervision to support the Service Department.


Schedule:
Part-time; Saturdays


Wage:
$16.75/hour


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Comply with Trotman Auto Group policies, along with local, provincial and federal laws including those governing the rules of the road, and health and safety
  • Accepts new vehicle shipments from carriers and ensures they are clear of damage
  • Manages the flow of traffic for the dealership lots, new and used car sales, and the general service area
  • Performs general wash and vacuums to stationary new vehicle inventory
  • Ensures the front line of vehicles on Lot, showroom and showcase display area are cleaned and organized
  • Hangs window stickers on inventory immediately after being stocked in
  • Cleans and moves vehicles in and out of the Showroom when necessary
  • Maintains lot order, even in designated customer parking areas
  • Ensures all washes, clean ups and details maintain the highest level of quality control
  • Ensures that preowned vehicles awaiting reconditioning are organized and accessible for the Service department
  • Communicates effectively with Department Managers to ensure all lot duties are completed in a timely manner

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience as an Automotive Lot/Wash Bay Attendant is preferred but not required
  • Valid Class 5 or Class 7 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract

Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles:

  • Strong communication skills
