Responsibilities:

Here is a preview of your day-to-day:

Inspect and assess safety of worksites;
Assure that health and safety guidelines are enforced at said worksites;
Assist in filling out accident forms and assure its conformity;
Investigate and analyse accidents;
Report et register accidents;
Coordinate and participate in health and safety committee meetings;
Keep safety procedures and emergency plans up to date on a regular basis;
Act as company's representative while communicating with CCOHS and other organisations.

Qualifications:

A summary of the skills required to be successful in this position:

Great knowledge and understanding of safety guideline required by CCOHS and by the law;
Ability to remain calm during stressful events such as serious accidents;
Willing to travel to several worksites in a day;
Experience on construction worksites (asset);
Experience in telecommunication (asset);
Bilingual English-French (asset). #IND1
