Patient Engagement Coordinator/ Memory Clinic - Halifax, Canada - Centricity Research
Description
The Memory Clinic Coordinator performs testing and administrative activities associated with the Memory Clinic. Will support cognitive rating to assist the Investigators in conducting clinical studies.Conducting visits
- Ensure the safety and welfare of participants
- Schedule and complete intake of memory clinic participants
- Administer the memory testing with participants
- Provide the participant with their score
- Provide some interpretation of the score to participant and support as applicable
- Inform participant of research opportunities as applicable
- Perform administrative tasks associated with the Memory Clinic, including preparing files, faxing, and compiling notes
- Conduct genetic testing swabs and process samples, as required
- Travel between regional locations and/or to offsite events may be required
- Occasional travel for mobile clinics Administering study scale/cognitive rating
- Conduct and document the study scales as per protocol, GCP, and WPs/SOPs
- Timely and accurate completion of source, data, CRFs, queries and CTMS, as required for study scales
General
- Abide by GCP, WPs/SOPs, company guidelines, and local healthcare privacy regulations
- Maintain professional relationships with participants, coworkers, and physiciansAttend site andcompany meetings
- Gather, enter, and/or update data to maintain company records and databases as directed
- Assist Management with any other tasks as required
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Minimum: Bachelor's Degree (psychology and/or neuroscience and/or public health is a strong asset)
- Preferred: Experience administering memory or other cognitive tests/questionnaires is an asset

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Physical demands include but not limited to prolonged sitting, light lifting, standing, reaching, walking, and bending.
- Frequently required to complete work on the computer in a seated position

- Modern medical office environment or home office environment
- Required to follow OSHA and CCOHS guidelines, in addition to other local healthcare regulations
- Required to perform duties in relation to HIPAA, PIDEDA, and other local privacy regulations
- Some positions may require overnight/weekend hours
