SUMMER STUDENT (MEMBERSHIP SERVICES)**
CONTRIBUTING TO THE CMPA


Membership Services provides information, advice and support services to members to enable the management of their CMPA membership and eligibility for medical-legal protection and other CMPA services.

The Contact Centre is the entry point for all inquiries to the CMPA, member validation, case creation, and assignment. The division screens phone calls for medical-legal assistance and transfers these calls to facilitate timely and appropriate member support. The Contact Centre handles over 160,000 inquiries per year.


POSITION OVERVIEW

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma and enrolled in a postsecondary institute
  • Experience in a busy office environment with previous telephone customer service experience considered an asset

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Bilingual-French/English is required
  • Strong Customer service and critical thinking skills
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills

POSTING DETAILS

  • This compensation for this temporary, fulltime position from May 2023 to August 2023 with an opportunity to stay on parttime during the year is $17.50/hr


  • Location: Hybrid

  • Primary Remote Job. You can work from a homebased office the majority of time, with regular onsite presence at the CMPA office (up to 12 days per week). If you prefer to work in an office setting as your primary workspace, you can choose to work out of the CMPA's office located in Ottawa, Ontario near the beautiful Dow's Lake
