Description

Responsible for overseeing execution of Frost projects from the time that material is delivered to site through to project closeout.

installation coordinator will be responsible for supervising installation crews on multiple job sites. This role is fast paced, a strong sense of urgency and the ability to problem solve are a must.


Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain project schedules on a weekly basis

  • Monitor and communicate with customer site teams on scheduling updates and site progress
  • Review shop drawings for installation considerations and assist in the design Frost building assemblies
  • Review estimates for installation considerations and assist in pricing production on jobs
  • Build and maintain relationships with customer site teams, subcontractors and associated trades
  • Oversee your team in contacting, scheduling and coordinating all subcontractors and deliveries across multiple job sites
  • Supervise the activities of installation coordinators, delivery drivers and foremen
  • Maintain a safe job site and ensure that the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act are enforced
  • Ensures employees have the necessary training to perform their work and report workplace hazards/injuries
  • Ensure all new workers receive a workplace specific Health and Safety Orientation

Qualifications
Strong knowledge of building envelope design and construction

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a supervisory role
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in construction
  • Competent with written and verbal communication
  • Competent with Microsoft office tools
  • Ability to read and understand architectural, structural and various trade shop drawings
  • Current knowledge of Ontario Health and Safety Act, along with relevant safe work practices and procedures
Assets (not requirements)

  • Experience in building envelopes and metal cladding
  • Experience installing insulated metal panels and metal cladding assemblies
  • Experience operating material and man lift equipment

Job Types:

From $68,000.00 per year
