About The Role

Responsibilities:


  • Installation and Service of Entrance Control and Cash Handling equipment
  • CCTV system installations and service
  • Electronic Security, service, and installation
  • Access control system service and installation
  • Be innovative, all client equipment must remain operational at all times. Consider all retrofit options while onsite to effect equipment repairs
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer needs in consultation with clients recommend solutions to enhance physical security measures
  • Prepare and submit all paperwork in a timely and businesslike manner Ensure company vehicle is driven and maintained in a manner consistent with policies Responsible for security of company vehicle, tools, equipment and inventory
  • Run and pull wire; program and calibrate equipment; adhere to codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Other duties as required

Experience requirements

  • Proven diagnostic skills able to systematically identify and resolve technical problems
  • Experience in Electronic Security Systems installations & Service
  • Valid driver's license is mandatory
  • Experience in delivering highquality customer service to a broad range of customers
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to effectively use test equipment, hand and power tools.
  • Availability to work variable hours, weekends and/or "oncall" shifts as necessary to meet customer requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service both over the phone and face to face, as well as have an ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences
  • Networking knowledge beneficial

Knowledge / Education requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent

Personality requirements

  • Selfmotivated and calm under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Intermediate computer skills required
  • Works well independently, takes direction well
  • The ability to lift more than 25 Kilos
  • A criminal background check will be required
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Moving heavy equipment is involved in this role
