Overview of Position:

Cobra Enterprises is looking for an enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Yard Personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle loading & unloading of products as directed
Operate forklift, Skid steer, and telehandler.
Support other functions departments where required.
Always follow safe work practices.
Load, unload, pack, and unpack materials.
Label and sort incoming and outgoing shipments. Relocate items within the warehouse or yard.
Unload materials and merchandise from incoming arrivals and stack them to assigned places.
Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
Hauling, loading, and unloading freight vehicles using related equipment.
Picking and packaging orders.
Working in a fastpaced environment under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

Hold a valid Class 5 driver's licence;
Ability to organize and prioritize workloads;
Forklift, Telehandler, and Skid steer experience
Ability to do physical labour including lifting, carrying (over 50 Lbs.), bending repeatedly daily.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to perform at a high level in a fast paced, demanding working environment.
Reliable vehicle is required, as this is a nonbus route.
Experience and knowledge in this or a related industry is an asset.
Experience and knowledge of construction materials.

Work conditions:

Ability to lift 80+ lbs, required safety equipment, hazards associated with the trade, work both indoors and outdoors, construction sites, noise, irregular hours.
