Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centred clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Position Overview
Digital Health focuses on supporting clinical and business systems as the foundation for leveraging electronic data in the delivery of health-care services.

Reporting to a manager, a digital solutions coordinator will:
- support the implementation of assigned digital health solutions from within the established healthcare enterprise architecture throughout the province
- track and document the scope, budget, schedules and resources for digital solutions
- collect and analyze requirements
- collaborate with stakeholders to identify appropriate implementation approaches including organizational change management requirements
- plan and coordinate solution delivery tasks through to completion
- coordinate technical and user testing
- resolve issues as they arise
- document related stakeholder analyses, implementation status, quality, issues, changes and risks using the prescribed methodology and tools
Each position may support digital solutions coordination in any service area of Digital Heath.
We are currently seeking applicants to work at our sites located alongside our clients in the various Manitoba Health System service delivery organizations - in particular within the areas served by the Northern Health Region.
Experience
- 1 year of experience coordinating the delivery of digital health related solutions or business changes in the health services sector, combined with
- 1 year of experience using standard project frameworks and principles, organizational change management tools and methodologies (such as Prosci), and project management methodologies or standards (such as PRINCE2 or PMBOK), and
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- A postsecondary degree in a relevant technology or health information system related field from an accredited education institution
Certification/Licensure/Registration
- Active member in good standing of an associated regulatory body as appropriate
Qualifications And Skills
- Demonstrated staff leadership capabilities including sensitivity to the cultural needs of Indigenous people. The provincial health system in Manitoba has adopted the LEADS in a Caring Environment framework
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work safely in a typical computerized office environment with frequent meetings, and to lift and carry items of up to approximately 10 kg
- Interruptions from key stakeholders are common; dedicated and focused time for planning and concentration can be scheduled
- Regular travel throughout the service area requiring a valid Manitoba driver's license and use of a personal motor vehicle
- Flexibility in working hours is required
