Role Overview


Location:
University Avenue, Toronto, Ontario.

Flexible work agreement policy in place allowing employees to work on a hybrid schedule, working remotely and with the expectation of being in-office.


This role includes, but not limited to:

  • Develop and implement organizational social media roadmap and strategy across multiple platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Work with media agency to plan and execute online paid media campaigns, including PPC, display, social media advertising, and remarketing to deliver campaign objectives.
  • Set clear objectives for online campaigns, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide reports on campaign performance.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Diabetes Canada's digital channels to streamline processes, maintain consistency, and ensure best practice adoption. This includes creating detailed documentation outlining the processes, protocols and responsibilities for each channel to maximize efficiency, effectiveness and digital governance compliance.
  • Stay uptodate on industry trends, emerging technologies, best practices in digital marketing and integrate this knowledge into the digital governance at Diabetes Canada and campaign recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage and mentor a direct report, providing guidance, coaching and feedback to support their growth and development.
  • Postsecondary diploma or university degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful campaigns
  • Experience managing and developing strategic plans for social media channels and national online paid media campaigns
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive campaign performance
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns concurrently and meet deadlines
  • Experience working within an Agile methodology
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • 2+ years of experience managing and mentoring direct reports
  • Experience working within the notforprofit sector an asset
