Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide amazing hospitality to crew and guests as prescribed in our RESPECT Service System.
Receive all Food and Beverage items, ensuring that the products received match the corresponding invoice.
Ensure the proper handling of invoices and documents.
Receive, store, and organize food and supplies using proper food handling techniques including stock rotation and monitoring temperatures of perishable products.
Assist with dishwashing and delivering cutlery to catering vessels.
Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and buffets or food stations.
Assist in cleaning and organizing of hospitality storage areas.
Maintain safety and cleanliness of kitchen and service areas; sweep and scrub floors, clean garbage cans with water, sort and remove trash placing it in designated pickup areas.
Assist with food deliveries to all vessels. Be prepared to begin work at scheduled time.
Maintain uniform and personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards.
Completes other duties as assigned by the Manger on duty.

Requirements & Qualifications:

O.S.S.D. or equivalent as recognized by the Ministry of Education.
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
Previous receiving experience preferred.
Smart Serve Certificate required.
Food Handler's Certificate considered an asset.
Energetic and enthusiastic personality essential.
Ability to deal with shifting priorities.
Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to effectively understand and convey written and verbal information to guests and coworkers.
Must possess a service orientation actively looking for ways to help others.
Will work for extended periods of time without sitting.
Required to lift furniture and other heavy items up and down stairs.
Will be required to be available for work on all major holidays.
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, pull, move or lift up to 60 lbs (27 kgs).
If required, wear assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (i.e. nonslip shoes, gloves, weather appropriate dress attire, sun protection).
