Here's What You'll Get to Do:

  • Provide administrative support associated with the daily operations for the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. This includes but is not limited to supporting the operational leaders and associated programs within the department.
  • Organize & coordinate meeting schedules using judgment to reschedule or book appointments according to changing priorities.
  • Proactively prepare and distribute agendas and minutes for meetings. Followup and/or implement items resulting from minutes.
  • Update content on Program/Department websites/SharePoint.
  • Plan and assist departmental events, meetings, conferences, and workshops as required; arranging travel, accommodations, itineraries, invitations, room bookings and setup, audio visual, catering, collaboration with other staff/departments/external contacts, preparation of materials for event and other duties as required.
  • Act as a central resource and coordinator of dosimeters for the department including registration, distribution, and communication with the vendor and Occupational Health and Safety on all dosimeter matters.
  • Provide administrative support for staff and volunteer recruitments, contract management, benefit, and payroll information.
  • Support the onboarding of students and MRT trainees.
  • Support the department and teams in Project Horizon and associated activities involved with construction and relocating.
  • Liaise with SickKids internal departments on matters as necessary.
  • Procure office supplies, equipment and furniture and ensure supplies are accessible to departmental personnel.
  • Generate purchase orders and work through procurement processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of equipment and product procurement processes, including Request for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Perform Timekeeping duties.

Here's What You'll Need:


  • Post secondary degree/diploma in business or office administration or combination of administrative experience or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in the health care industry strongly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in common productivity software (Office 365 including Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Zoom, Adobe, Reference Tools).
  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize work in an efficient and organized manner.
  • Highly developed analytical, evaluative, and problemsolving skills.
