Summary:

Role and Responsibilities:

Assemble, test, and configure valve & actuator assemblies
Range and setup transmitters and other measurement devices
Review upcoming work for completeness and scheduling
Work with Coordinators and Engineers to ensure customer requirements are met
Provide product telephone support for internal and external customers
Operate both the forklift and cranes
Participate in overtime as required to meet customers' demands
Provide support to other areas of Burnaby Operations as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

Instrumentation Technology Diploma, Journeyman or Apprentice Instrumentation Technician, Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician
Previous control and isolation valve experience would be an asset
Strong mechanical knowledge and skills
Entrepreneurial work ethic
Adaptability to provide support to different areas as required
Outstanding commitment to customer service
Willing to work at customer sites in BC on an exception basis (few times per year)
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
Ability to work individually as well as in a team
Strong problemsolving ability
Physically able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.
Valid driver's license required
