The Opportunity

Columbia College is looking for
Sessional Political Science Instructor
s **to teach the following courses in our University Transfer Program during the second half of the Winter 2023 semester.

All courses are taught on campus.

PSCI 25

Introduction to Public Policy, section Tuesday and Friday from 12:00 pm to 13:55 pm

- **PSCI 27

Environmental Policy and Sustainable Development, **section Tuesday and Friday from 16:00 pm to 17:55 pm

- **PSCI 10

Introduction to Canadian Government,** section Tuesday and Friday from 18:00 pm to 19:55 pm

These part-time sessional positions will
commence on
February 28
and end on
April 17,
2023.
Key Responsibilities

Instructors' primary responsibilities include planning, teaching, marking, and grading the appointed course/s.
-
Master's degree in Political Science

Online and facetoface experience teaching Political Science at another postsecondary institution.
Excellent expertise with Learning Management Systems (Knowledge and experience with Moodle is an asset)
Demonstrated success in innovative or studentcentred teaching techniques.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience in teaching a diverse student body.

Salary

We offer an attractive compensation
:
$4,126.39
per half a course for a Master's degree holder and $
4,605.68 per half a course for a Ph.
D. holder.
