Since Family owned and operated - Eassons Transportation Group is headquartered in Kentville NS, with terminals in Coldbrook, NS, Sydney, NS, Albany, PEI, Moncton, NB, Mount Pearl, NL, Belleville, ON and Mississauga, ON.

Eassons operates approximately 325 trucks and employs over 500 people. Eassons Transportation Group provides dry and temperature-controlled TL/LTL services across Canada and the United States.

Who You Are

What You Will Do...
Determination of recruitment requirements
Advertising
Adhere to Eassons hiring Polices
Administer Alcohol and Drug testing of new hires and random tested as required.
Facilitate driving tests for potential drivers
Representation at industry events including career fairs, trade schools, driving schools and trucks shows
Qualify drivers/reference checks, other
Travel to other terminals may be required
Participate in driver retention - constant contact with hires
Participate in/on-boarding of driver/orientation process
Detailed reporting, including recruitment metrics to determine optimal strategies
Create/oversee marketing/social media as related to the position

Qualifications:

Above average organizational, planning and time management skills
Above average verbal and written communication skills
HR background an asset
Experience with LMIA process
General Competencies
