What you will do:


Under the direction of the Associate Dean, Program Quality, the Program Consultant will working closely with an academic Faculty and other academic areas to create and sustain innovative, high-calibre programs.

The Program Consultant is responsible for contributing to the development of new programs that meet current and future needs of the global economy through the research of new and emerging occupations and related areas of study.

In addition, the incumbent is responsible for the preparation of concept papers and proposals for internal and external committees.


The incumbent is also responsible for leading comprehensive program reviews and the renewal of existing programs on a cyclical basis to address continuously-changing industry needs.

On an as-needed basis, the Program Consultant is responsible for the completion of program and curriculum changes.

We will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.


What you bring to the role:

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Social Science or a related field
  • Master's Degree in Education, Educational Theory, Social Science or a related field

Experience & Skills

  • Instructional development process
  • Research techniques for collection of primary & secondary data
  • Presentation & facilitation
  • Preparation of clear, concise documentation
  • Negotiation & conflict resolution
  • Analytical skills
  • Facilitating focus groups
  • Proofing & editing of documents
  • Postsecondary program & curriculum development
