Description
Manufacturing ClerkPrincipal responsibilities of the Manufacturing Clerk include but are not limited to:
- Assist shop in sourcing and obtaining equipment, replacement parts and or service.
- Enter orders for receiving customer supplied materials.
- Maintain and create production travellers
- Maintain production supply inventory
- Provide continued communication to shop personnel of developments and changes as related to the project scope.
- Ensures that all matters related to the general administration of the contract are addressed to facilitate the successful completion of the fabrication of the product to the satisfaction of the customer and Trenergy Inc.
- Assist in the maintenance of formal project schedule (using Microsoft Excel) based on internal shop issued schedules for communication to customer and monitoring of project progress.
- Ensure that management is kept aware of all major activities and developments as related to the scope of the contract.
- High school or Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in business related fields would be an asset
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
- Strong written and oral communication
- Excellent time management skills with ability to handle several projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge in MasterCAM is an asset
Required experience:
- 2+ years experience in the steel fabricating industry
Job Type:
Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Salary:
$20.00 per hour
