Description
Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Windows Administrator for our Federal Government client.

The following responsibilities are associated with the "Statement of Work" but are not limited to:
Primary Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Assistant Director, OS Platform Services:

  • Provide support to projects and platform operations, deploy, maintain, and upgrade our Windows server
environment, both on-premises and cloud

  • Assist with ongoing level 2 technical support, maintenance, and improvement to the Bank's current
environments

and external teams

  • Create thorough and detailed documentation Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of all changes,
upgrades, procedures, user/vendor interactions, and root cause analyses

  • Other related activities and deliverables as required
Required Qualifications & Skills

The Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience in Windows Server systems, with solid abilities in
administering Microsoft Group Policies and Microsoft SCCM

  • A minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience in performance and capacity monitoring for
critical servers

  • A minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated ability to develop and support Infrastructure as Code (IAC)
with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Azure, etc.

  • Demonstrated advanced understanding of Windows server support
  • Demonstrated ability to rank tasks per priority, meet deadlines and perform multiple tasks concurrently
  • Demonstrated experience with the maintenance and upgrading of Windows Windows 2019
Server Environments

Additional Qualifications

The following will also be considered:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of a scripting language, such as Ansible playbooks, PowerShell or Python
  • Demonstrated ability to create automation scripts, deploy orchestration and automation processes and
products

  • Demonstrated knowledge of product, services, endtoend ownership, and resolution
