***Daily warehouse functions in support of receiving, stock take, and order preparation activities.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Load, unload, and move product by hand, by skid, or by cart.
  • Put away all required product to bins and racks.
  • Verify products using item numbers, descriptions and quantity, and inspect boxes and product for damage or improper packaging.
  • Scans labels into warehouse computer system.
  • Stage product for putaway bins or racks.
  • Consolidate racks, and move and stage boxes/skids for reuse.
  • Operate basic (i.e., electric pallet jack, forklift) and advanced (i.e., turret truck, order picker) powered equipment.
  • Train crossfunctionally in other departments and functions to support business requirements.
  • Follow safety guidelines at all times.
  • Meet specified productivity and quality expectations.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • High school diploma or the equivalent required.
  • Experience operating tools, equipment and warehouse vehicles such as turret trucks and order pickers where required.
  • Basic computer skills required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Sitting, standing, walking, lifting materials (maximum 75 pounds individual or team lift), carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs, climbing using legs and arms, balancing, stooping, kneeling, repeated bends, reaching high and low, and repetitive twisting or pressure, involving wrist and hands. Hearing, seeing (including depth perception and peripheral vision), ability of mental coordination. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as required for position. Must be able to operate at heights up to 50 feet.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:


  • May be required to work overtime to meet customer's needs.
  • In order to meet customer service requirements, associates must be flexible to temporarily be reassigned to other warehouse functions.

Pay:
$16.00-$18.00 per hour
