Your role

We are looking for an Project Manager who is seeking the right opportunity to level their skills in the municipal and developmental infrastructure services sector of our Toronto business unit.

You bring previous experience in leading projects varying in scope and complexity in the delivery of municipal and private development infrastructure projects, including transit, development, utility, park, storm/waste water and other infrastructure projects.

You've become known as a trusted advisor to your clients and have built strong, lasting relationships with senior leaders and decision makers.

Responsibilities:

Leadership:

Demonstrate campany values and cultural behaviours
Lead development of Assistant Project Managers on your projects
Delegate and empower Assistant Project Managers
Build a personal brand

Growth:

Grow sales inside existing accounts
Find opportunities to crossline selling in accounts you manage
Grow your Fee Income Managed on your projects

Management:

Manage project delivery teams to deliver the quality required by the client
Manage implementation of the work breakdown structure
Escalate oroject deliver and commercial/financial issues to Project Lead

Quality:

Resonsilble for implementing all work on your projects is delivered in accordance with our Quality Management System
Responsible for Client Satisfaction

Qualifications:

A university degree or diploma in civil enginering (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience)
8 to 10 years of project management experience, representing owers in the delivery of transit, devleopment, utillity park, storm/waste water proejcts
Deep understanding of the engineering deisgn proceiss, value engineering, and approvals necessary to proceed with construction and close out/handover in a municipal setting
Proven ability to lead rojects and teams delivering infrastructure
Strong understanding of best practice Project Management methodologies and procedures within a PMO environment
Effective client and stakeholder management matched with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of client and technical issues
Detail oriented leader with the ability to work ina process driven environment
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
PMP designation would be an asset
