Housekeeping Aide - Temporary Part-Time

Primary Duties

  • Maintains a clean and safe environment for patients, families, staff and visitors
  • Cleans patient care areas, treatment/clinic rooms, public areas, waiting rooms, lounges, offices, etc.
  • Demonstrates safe working practices and follows infection prevention and control procedures
  • Other related duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
  • Janitorial/cleaning experience is preferred

Skills & Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to perform duties with an acceptable standard of skill and sense of responsibility
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively in an institutional environment
  • Ability to maintain environmental standards with mínimal supervision
  • Physically capable of coping with a moderately heavy workload
  • Ability to work all shifts and weekends
