Production Operator (Electronics Assembly) _to join our team.
As a Production Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our production lines.
-Responsibilities:_
As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for performing various tasks across all production lines and adapting to different roles as directed by the Shift Supervisor.
Your main duties will include:
- Demonstrating flexibility by working all shifts and overtime as required to meet production demands.
- Strictly adhering to internal and external regulations, including work instructions and ESD guidelines, to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area at all times, following the 5S principles.
- Ensuring proper product identification and completing first off approvals at the start of each shift.
- May include soldering and desoldering various components, such as resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets.
- May include performing tasks related to Surface Mount Technology (SMT) production, following work instructions and maintaining the required rate and quality standards.
- May include operating SMT equipment according to the production schedule and performing basic maintenance when needed.
Other Tasks:_
In addition to the main responsibilities, you will also be involved in:
- Completing administrative tasks, including hourly trackers as required.
- Adhering to workplace health and safety rules, ESD guidelines, and protecting company property.
- Committing to working hours, shift schedules, and breaks as defined by the supervisor.
- Participating in training programs to enhance your skills and fulfill your role effectively.
- Assisting with any other duties assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements:_
- To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:
- Education: High School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent.
Experience:_
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Experience requiring focus and hand/eye coordination is preferred.
Professional Skills/Certifications:_
- IPC-A610 certification for hand soldering is preferred.
- Ability to follow work instructions accurately and perform repetitive tasks with mínimal supervision.
- Adaptable to changes and excellent communication skills.
- Reliable, responsible, and detailoriented.
- Strong team player with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
