Headquartered in Lunenburg, NS, and with a site in Mirabel, QC, we operate more than 180,000 sq feet of facilities that are focused on composite, metal or hybrid sub-assemblies for major aeronautical players and innovating global solutions.

The
Demoulding Operator is responsible for exacting cured parts from tools for further processing.


In this role, you will:


  • Use accepted techniques for demoulding process and tool preparation
  • Ensure the safe transportation of tools for storage or to next stage of production
  • Inspect tool condition and advise on refurbishment / repair
  • Coordinate preparation of tooling in accordance with schedule requirements
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of materials and agents used in the tool preparation process
  • Perform preliminary quality assessment of demoulded parts
  • Support calibration process for small equipment as required
  • Maintain high quality work standards as specified in procedures and work control documents
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment, identifying hazards and ensuring controls are in place to perform work safely at all times
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of all data requirements as specified in STELIA North America procedures and work control documents
  • Identify nonconforming parts, conditions, and manufacturing processes
  • Complete all required documentation according to regulatory standards and policies and procedures

You have:


  • A High School Diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 3 years of practical experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in a mechanical assembly or aeronautics environment
  • The ability to read and comprehend drawings, specifications and other technical documents
  • High attention to detail and a keen eye for quality
  • A proven track record of working safely
  • Manual dexterity and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Salary:
$37,000.00-$42,000.00 per year
