Headquartered in Lunenburg, NS, and with a site in Mirabel, QC, we operate more than 180,000 sq feet of facilities that are focused on composite, metal or hybrid sub-assemblies for major aeronautical players and innovating global solutions.

The
Demoulding Operator is responsible for exacting cured parts from tools for further processing.

In this role, you will:

Use accepted techniques for demoulding process and tool preparation
Ensure the safe transportation of tools for storage or to next stage of production
Inspect tool condition and advise on refurbishment / repair
Coordinate preparation of tooling in accordance with schedule requirements
Maintain a thorough understanding of materials and agents used in the tool preparation process
Perform preliminary quality assessment of demoulded parts
Support calibration process for small equipment as required
Maintain high quality work standards as specified in procedures and work control documents
Maintain clean and safe work environment, identifying hazards and ensuring controls are in place to perform work safely at all times
Ensure completeness and accuracy of all data requirements as specified in STELIA North America procedures and work control documents
Identify nonconforming parts, conditions, and manufacturing processes
Complete all required documentation according to regulatory standards and policies and procedures

You have:

A High School Diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 3 years of practical experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in a mechanical assembly or aeronautics environment
The ability to read and comprehend drawings, specifications and other technical documents
High attention to detail and a keen eye for quality
A proven track record of working safely
Manual dexterity and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
