Operations Service Representative 4, Banking System Support Coordinator, so if you're passionate about improving people's financial health, we'd like to hear from you.


What's the role?


As an
Operations Service Representative 4, Banking System Support Coordinator, under mínimal supervision, you will act as the primary coordinator and resource for all matters relating to the banking system.

Operations Service Representative to carry the mission statement forward in order to build, maintain, attract and expand the member's relationship with the credit union.

As an
Operations Service Representative you provide friendly, professional service in an efficient, financially responsible manner.


Your duties will include:

  • Acts as a primary coordinator and resource for all matters relating to the banking system.
  • Liaisons with third party service providers (i.e., Fiserv, Central1,Treshold and participates in testing of upgrades to banking system and MemberDirect)
  • Audits banking system data; investigates and rectifies errors as required and advises management of anomalies.
  • Prepare monthly database integrity package.
  • Performs other related duties and backup service as required.
  • Answers and responds to telephone inquiries.

What are we looking for?

  • 36 years financial experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the sales and service environment;
  • Successfully completed CUIC 185 and/or CUIC 200 and be actively pursuing CUIC Fellow Designation;
  • Successfully completed MSR2 exam and demonstrated leadership skills.
Ideally, you are a flexible, collaborative team player with:

  • Working knowledge of Coastal Community Credit Union products and services is required, as well as advanced knowledge of the banking system.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate in a clear, concise manner is required to transfer information and understanding to members, as well as to handle complex lending transactions.
  • The incumbent must effectively listen to and engage members/team members in conversation to understand and identify their needs to provide resolution through sourcing information and matching an appropriate product/service/support; as well as provide a referral to the appropriate individual to complete the request if required.
  • The ability to multitask with above average keyboarding and internet/computer navigation skills for searching online client data and product information while simultaneously conversing with the member is essential to ensure that members receive excellent member service.
  • Interviewing skills and the ability to ask probing questions are required, as well as having the flexibility to adapt to each request and move between a variety of member concerns/questions/requests.
  • In addition, the incumbent must be a strong team player who prioritizes and exhibits initiative to assist in the completion of projects and work within specific time constraints in a high paced environment.
  • This position requires the use of some judgement in developing recommendations/decisions that could have an impact on credit union operations.
