We need a
Financial Reporting & Analysis Manager, so if you're looking for an exciting growth opportunity and are passionate about accounting and finance operations, we want to hear from you


What's the role?

What are we looking for?

  • Professional accounting designation (CPA) or completion of a Business Degree or Diploma with a specialization in Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum five years of progressive experience in accounting, auditing, budgeting, financial planning, treasury management, and/or financial analysis.
  • Experience leading teams is considered an asset.
  • Experience presenting financial data to Senior/Executive Leadership considered an asset
Ideally, you are a flexible, collaborative team player with:

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise financial accounting systems, report writing software and budget & forecasting systems
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and data management.
  • Previous experience preparing complex annual operating budgets and forecasts.
  • Experience regarding the development, review, and implementation of accounting policies and processes in areas of financial reporting to ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable accounting or regulatory changes.
  • Previous experience with IFRS reporting requirements is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of payroll regulations, compliance and processes an asset.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory reporting with the BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA), including Capital Adequacy reporting considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of the Credit Union's financial reporting systems and processes.
  • Proven experience with Regulatory Filings would be considered an asset.
  • Previous experience with financial institution and/or insurance accounting is considered an asset.
  • Have a demonstrated ability to coach and motivate a team of representatives.
