We are seeking four Seasonal Utilityworkers to join our Eastern Generation Department in Pointe du Bois, Mb for an

approximate six-month term extending from April October 2023.

_ Responsibilities:
_

Participate actively and positively in the development of the team and the achievement of the team's goals.
Assist tradespeople and technicians in the performance of their duties.
Assist with rough carpentry and concrete work, grouting and cement finishing, bricklaying, fence erection and building

- erection.

Assist in plant cleanliness, painting, grass cutting, landscaping, maintenance of roads and grounds, and snow removal.
Ensure that duties performed comply with Corporate and regulatory environmental requirements.
Report any incidents or situations that may be harmful to the environment or in violation of corporate or regulatory

- requirements.

Operate simple electrical and pneumatic tools.
Perform rigging work which will require climbing ability.
Operate the following mobile equipment as required: cars, trucks, trackmobiles, tractors, frontend loaders, backhoe,

- snowmobile, motorboat, powerhouse cranes and other light equipment.

Assist in the placement and removal of stop logs on forebay and tailrace gates.
Required to perform grinding duties during the turbine runner maintenance and assist in scroll case inspections.

_ Qualifications:
_

Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent.
Required to have a minimum of one year related experience.
Semiskilled in the work of the building trades.
Physically capable of working at heights and in adverse weather conditions.
Write basic work reports and complete inspection reports.
Fully understand and adhere to regulations pertaining to the use of power tools and Corporation safety rules.
Capable of understanding and following written and oral instructions, plans and sketches of small projects.
Requires the ability to work harmoniously with fellow employees.
Possess a valid Manitoba Driver's Licence and be willing to obtain a Class 3 Licence with air brake endorsement.

_ Salary Range_
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $20.27-$28.28 Hourly,
$38,843.48-$54,191.80 Annually.
