SIGNING BONUS FOR DIRECT HIRES:
$200 UPON HIRE AND $300 BONUS UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF PROBATION PERIOD
***: Reporting to the Production Planning Manager, the incumbent will coordinate, prepare, monitor and support all levels of schedules. The incumbent will develop work breakdown structures and assign resources to each production activity, producing reports and analyses.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

To provide support in the efficient utilization of equipment, material and manpower.
To provide support in schedule updates based on the requirements from the Production Planning team.
To maintain and support the production schedule.
Communicate any delivery concerns to the Production Planning team.
Communicate production schedule concerns to the rest of the Production Planning team.
To prepare the work orders based on the customer orders from Customer Service.
To identify issues in both material shortage & missed shop floor work order due dates and to communicate to the Production Planning Manager.
To work with the Production Planning team in ensuring that production schedules are maintained.
Tracking production from the daily shift reports.
To report the status of Kanban RQ vs. Actual for specific parts on a periodic basis.
Assist in the setup of production planning processes and procedures to support the planning function.
Other duties as required.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

Completion of secondary school or equivalent.
Excellent knowledge in EXCEL.
Demonstrated knowledge of the production planning processes and experience in working with shop routings, bills of material and work orders.
Familiarity with inventory control, inventory analysis, and other problemsolving techniques.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Prioritizing and multitasking skills.
Planning experience in a machining and fabrication environment would be ideal.
Flexible, serviceoriented, and handson management professional who can successfully keep production rolling.
Strong interpersonal/people, communication, and organizational skills.
Selfmotivated, adaptable, selfstarter who can work well both independently and as part of a team.

HEALTH AND SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow policies and procedures put in place for employee safety and in compliance to the OHSA
Ask supervisor if unsure of task or duty assigned
Report unsafe conditions and potential hazards to supervisor
Wear and maintain proper PPE required for the task
Do not engage in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running or rough and boisterous conduct
Do not use or operate any equipment or work in a way that may endanger any worker
Report any hazards or contraventions of the OHSA
