Description
Responsibilities will include:
- Working alongside the Executive Chef, Head Chef & Sous Chef to change the menu regularly focusing on sustainability and seasonality.
- Working alongside suppliers, local producers and farmers to ensure access to the best produce possible.
- Training and mentoring new hires as we aim to build a team full of creative power and technical skill.
- Setting standards of excellence and being an example of professionalism in the workplace.
- Ensuring accountability through open communication and constructive discourse.
- Controlling food costs and inventory.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience.
- Good understanding of costing and inventory, as well as working knowledge of google sheets spreadsheets.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Strives for improvement and is eager to mentor others to achieve excellence as a team.
- Food Handler's Certificate
