DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Business Development Director, the Merchandiser is responsible for merchandising and increasing the visibility of St-Albert Cheese products at the assigned accounts.

He/she will also ensure a high quality of customer service at each visit.

YOUR ROLE:

You will visit grocery stores in Eastern Ontario, daily, as assigned.
You will talk to deli managers and grocery store staff, to create a working relationship with these key partners.
You will take inventory of products that are available in each store and compare that to what they are listed for, and talk to our partners regarding any listing gaps.
You will occasionally perform product tastings instore to promote St-Albert Cheese to consumers.
Coordinate the marketing activities related to regional sales objectives and communicate it accordingly to our clients.
You will be using outlook to report back your activities while on the road.
Occasionally take client orders instore as required.

WHAT YOU HAVE:

A valid G driver's licence and a car that is in good working order. (In addition to your base salary, you will be paid $0.50 per KM)
You would consider yourself organized and easy to get along with.
You enjoy talking to people.
You are able to work by yourself with little supervision.
You can speak and write in English AND French.

Status:
Permanent, Full Time

Work Schedule:
days 8am to 4pm* **_must be available on weekends occasionally._
