International Shipping Assistant


At Peak Performance HR we are looking for someone with experience sending packages internationally to support our operation and provide customer service.


Responsibilities:


  • Answer the phone, directing callers to the right teams and relaying messages,
  • Alert account executives and management team to noteworthy issues that necessitate their expertise,
  • Compile information from stores and customers' requests to support research and sales activities,
  • Prepare, key in, edit and proofread sales presentations and line sheets for account base Order office and shipping supplies and maintain inventory,
  • Procure customers' purchase orders ahead of our deadlines,
  • Locate dresses in the internal system to support the customer's inquires,
  • Assist with scheduling and booking appointments for the office and store,
  • Pull suitable samples for key accounts and celebrity requests suggesting adjacent alternatives when merchandise is unavailable,
  • Prepare items for shipping, noting item contents, delivery methods, and other logístical details,
  • Ensure that the dress samples are shipped on time to the stores, trunk shows, and celebrity requests,
  • Accept and document packages and deliveries made to the facility, preparing shipmentrelated paperwork,
  • Arrange and document customer shipments, preparing proforma invoices where advance payment is required,
  • Store items received in appropriate storage areas, documenting any changes,
  • Communicating with accounts/finance dept on customer balances, forecasts of value to ship, etc,
  • Identify and resolve shipping, storage, or receiving discrepancies as they arise,
  • Maintain a clearly organized workspace,
  • Assist the Wholesale Customer Service Manager with orders and cut slips.
  • Put together fabric swatches to send to stores and brides,
  • Liaison between office team and service providers like IT, internet, printer, etc,
  • Call and manage electrician/plumber when needed
  • Maintain inventory of supplies by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for them,
  • Assist team with scheduling interviews, virtual and inperson meetings when needed,
  • Support Marketing Manager with planning office events and companyrelated functions,
  • Help unpack gowns when they are returned from trunk shows if needed,
  • Support other teams with various administrative tasks.

Qualifications:


  • At least 1 year of experience sending packages internationally
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service.
