General Labourer.

The primary role will be:

Cutting material using automatic saw

Hydro and pressure testing boilers

Mixing Castable and pouring into the boiler


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Operate material handling equipment including a Lift Truck and overhead crane
  • Record and follow process standard work procedures & quality controls instructions.
  • Clean plant and equipment, including all tanks and mixers as needed to maintain a good housekeeping philosophy.
  • Performs other duties of assembly help and/ or general labor when needed as assigned by supervisor from time to time.
  • Maintain level of quality consistent with established standards.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain constructive working relationships with coworkers, supervisors and managers.
  • Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company policy.
  • Work diligently and effectively at all assigned tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • Health & Safety conscious
  • Willingness to learn
  • Knowledge and use of hand tools.
  • Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
  • Ability to operate a Lift Truck.
  • Must have the ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs kgs).
