Sales Consultant - Professional Markets

Are you particularly adept at recognizing and capitalizing on new opportunities to drive sales? As a Sales Consultant, you will be accountable for the discovery, development and implementation of photo, video, large format printers and emerging technologies into markets typically not serviced by existing retail channels.

You will be responsible for cultivating new business opportunities and showcasing Canon's broad and diverse range of products and solutions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop avenues and channels for new photo, video, large format printers and emerging technologies business by creating lead generation tactics in targeted verticals
  • Develop strategies and solutions for specific markets and industry verticals utilizing Canon imaging products.
  • Become a market expert and understand client needs
  • Establishing and maintaining strong and influential customer/clients relationships to maximize product sales opportunities

To Succeed You Will Need:


  • Completed postsecondary education (college or university)
  • 35 years business strategy/business development experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communicator, high energy individual, proactive thinker
  • Selfstarter, able to adapt to new work environments quickly, perform well under very tight deadlines
  • Results oriented with a demonstrated track record of identifying & securing new business opportunities
  • Well developed research and strategic analysis skills
  • Passion for cutting edge technology and a technical aptitude
  • Bilingualism in English & French is an asset
  • Exceptional presentation skills, strong communicator ability to "cold call"

Language requirement:


  • This position requires French as it is in the province of Quebec. Canon's headquarters are in Ontario, and employees are based in numerous provinces. As such, English (written and spoken) is an asset as internal communications between colleagues, management may occur in English or French.
