Server (Student)

Scope of Position:

The Server (student) is responsible for serving meals and assisting with other miscellaneous tasks throughout the Home.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensures resident satisfaction with meal service.
  • Participates as a member of the dining services team and provides support to the other members of the Services team.
  • Performs the setup, serving and tear down services for events.
  • Sets and strips tables and serves food/beverages in accordance with established policies and procedures and all applicable regulations.
  • Unpacks and stores supplies. Maintains work and storage areas in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
  • Washes, cleans and stores dishes, cutlery, fixtures and equipment used for food preparation and service.
  • Assists and attends to the needs of the residents as required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
