Description

Helical Pile Solutions is a deep foundations contractor with over 30 years of experience in the industry, recently acquired by Java Holdings Ltd.

("Java"). Java staff have over 50 years of experience building some of Canada's largest electrical infrastructure projects. We are seeking an Operations Manager for our growing team in the Nisku area.

The Operation Manager will be the lead for all field staff, operational activities for projects and ensure safety, quality and profitability are met.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for oversight of all execution and field staff
  • Develop and facilitate interdepartmental process improvements that increase efficiencies and improve performance.
  • Work directly with Manufacturing Manager and Fleet Supervisor to ensure products and equipment are ready for projects.
  • Monitor revenue job cost reports.
  • Work directly with Project Managers for project kick off meetings.
  • Establish relationships with clients.
  • Plan and attend internal and client project kickoff/progress meetings.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by acting as a point of contact to internal and external customers, including handling complaints and communicating with outside agencies as well as stakeholders.
  • Manage all operational risks, with support from senior leadership where required.
  • Work with Safety to develop best practice methods and ensure all are followed.
  • Ensure adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of information and data, flowing through the Operations Center, from both internal and external databases.
  • Implement and improve processes and procedures and/or business practices related to operations.
  • Promote new market and business initiatives with assets, resources and competitors.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


  • 10 years' experience in all foundation piling
  • 5 years' experience as project manager
  • Experience in budgeting and financial reviews process
  • Planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability with sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
  • Proficient computer abilities; including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook), and other mobile technologies.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processes.
