What is the opportunity?
Underwriting Group Employee Benefits plans.


This position is responsible for the evaluation and selection of risk and the establishment of premium levels which will ensure the profitable acquisition of new cases and the continued profitable retention of inforce cases within the assigned authority levels.


What will you do?

  • Achieve process performance goals, both at the individual and work unit level.
  • Contribute to high quality risk assessment and management within the work unit.
  • Support customer focus for internal and external customers.
  • Understand and contribute to rating, information collection, and workflow improvements

What will you need to succeed?

Must Have:


  • Strong mathematical skills
  • 1 to 2 years of Group Insurance Benefits experience
  • Solid communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proven collaboration/team player mindset
  • Ability to think conceptually and outside the box
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently while meeting deadlines
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion and conflict resolution skills with a bias towards customer service

Nice to have:


  • Bilingual (French)
  • 1 to 2 years of Group Underwriting experience
