Description

• Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications and production requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines, such as tooling problems, programming errors, or mechanical malfunctions.
• Inspect finished products for quality and precision, making adjustments to machine settings as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and improve product quality.
• Maintain accurate records of machine maintenance, production output, and inventory levels.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Diagnose & repair mechanical & electrical breakdowns of machines
• Operate material handling equipment (such as overhead & mobile cranes); light mobile equipment (such as forklifts, pickup trucks)
• Operate handheld equipment (such as hand tools); Clearly communicate completed tasks by means of producing a daily report
• Set up and perform alignments on equipment; Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, cable assemblies.

• Minimum 3 years of previous CNC trouble shooting experience
• Working knowledge of programming highly desirable.
• Familiarity with various controls eg. Fanuc, Heidenhain and Siemens necessary
• Knowledge of high speed machining processes.
• Knowledge of machines adjustments.
• Knowledge of machines accuracy tests procedure
• Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certificate of Qualification (433A) or Machinist/Programmer or Industrial Maintenance Technician
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an industrial environment;
• CNC machine experience (required)
• Must have a full drivers license and have access to a reliable vehicle
