Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Mettler Toledo is seeking to hire a Pipette Technician at the Mississauga Depot facility. As a Pipette Technician you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, certifications, troubleshooting, and diagnosing of pipettes. Occasional service at customer locations may be required.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform preventative maintenance, certification and repairs on pipettes at customer locations
  • Perform preventative maintenance, certification and repairs on pipettes in the calibration lab in Mississauga
  • Achieve assigned revenue targets while staying under budget
  • Interface with sales to meet customer requirements
  • Assist and cooperate with Service Support Representatives whenever necessary
  • Being proactive in promoting and selling service and products
  • Complete record keeping on time
  • Travel out of personal territory when required to assist other Technicians
  • Submit all required paperwork in a timely and professional manner, maintains a close professional relationship with external/internal customers, sales, technicians and other leaders
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed
What You Need to Succeed

  • A combination of degree/diploma and/or relevant work experience may be considered
  • Experience in the field of chemistry and/or biology would be a benefit
  • Advanced computer skills and experience is required
  • Must have a valid drivers licence
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
