Description

Reporting to the Liquor Manager, the Liquor Supervisor is responsible for the overall operation of the Liquor store including sales, delivering world-class customer service, receiving merchandise, stocking products, cleaning shelves, helping customers, merchandising and displaying products, making end caps displays, maintaining department cleanliness and housekeeping standards.

Two or more years of previous liquor retail experience
Complete understanding of Alberta Liquor Regulations and Legislations
Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, craft beer, and other Alcohol products
Computer skills and office administration experience; including knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Experience with deposits, till counting, daily paperwork, scheduling, etc.
Familiar with ordering receiving, inventory management
Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on employee engagement
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent internal and external customer service skills
Experience motivating & coaching employees; able to identify measures of performance and actions needed to improve or correct performance
Demonstrated time management, planning, and organizational skills
Cash handling skills/experience; understanding of basic mathematic principles
Able to operate POS system; understand credit and debit procedures
Physically able to lift to 50 lbs. repeatedly
High level of integrity and work ethic
