Description
We are currently seeking a positive and outgoing Parking Enforcement Officer to join our team in Squamish. The Parking Enforcement Officer is responsible for overseeing the safety and security of parking lots, garages, and parkades.


Schedule
-
7 days a week -
2 to 4 hours daily in
split shifts. Completely flexible with the hours; it could be evenings, early mornings, late nights, mornings, afternoons, and evenings.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform monitoring activities to ensure compliance with the posted guidelines at parking facilities and issue notices to vehicles not in compliance
  • Write warnings and citations for illegally parked vehicles
  • Identify vehicles in violation of parking codes
  • Greet guests and provide guidance regarding meters, directions, and additional details specific to the lot
  • Be a positive ambassador by providing superior customer service and always representing the company with integrity and in good faith
  • Respond to customer inquiries and remain courteous whenever assisting parking guests
  • Assist with the overall presentation of each area of the facility and passing along concerns
  • Proactively assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the parking facilities whenever and wherever required or requested
  • Report any incidents or deficiencies immediately to Manager or Supervisor
  • Complete all forms and reports as specifically directed
  • Perform cash collection for machines and deliver to collections facility
  • Perform such other duties as the Company reasonably directs from time to time

Employment Requirements

  • Valid class 5 driver's license and clean abstract.
  • Must be capable of walking for extended periods of time as well as occasionally lifting.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and frequent exposure to all temperature conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to pass a criminal record check
