Description
The Production Planner/Scheduler is responsible for scheduling trucking, machinery and ensuring that the lab our resources for all are arranged beforehand.

Job Duties
- Coordinate all raw materials while ensuring on time delivery of all products.
- Create trucking plans to deliver all products conforming to all delivery expectations.
- Create production schedules based on customer orders, deadlines, and raw material availability.
- Create a labour schedule to accommodate the trucking and machines needed to execute the schedule.
- Communicate the plan to the front line team so that the level of expectation in terms of execution is identified.
- Review the execution of the schedules and make adjustments where required.
- Communicate with shipping and production to provide updates on issues impacting production, such as machine breakdowns, late shipments, expedited orders, or lack of supplies.
- Communicate any potential failures to management.
- Ensure waste is minimized through scheduling of seamless production handoff between departments.
- Identifies production bottlenecks and collaborates with operations leaders to resolve.
- Communicates accurately, effectively, and proactively to build relationships and trust with stakeholders to allow rapid problemsolving when required.
Requirements:
- GED/equivalent; Associate's in a quantitative field preferred.
- Experience working on the production floor with a crossfunctional team
- 3+ years of planning/scheduling experience, preferably in the converting industry.
- Excellent complex problemsolving skills
- Exceptional communication and teamwork/collaboration skills
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
Job Types:

Salary:
$54,680.00-$60,469.00 per year
