Job Summary


The Summer Student Support Analyst is responsible for taking calls and creating cases that may be problem related to mechanical failures, hardware failures and/or software failures, network and user problems, as well as new customer implementation support.

The Summer Student Support Analyst must exercise independent judgement to determine the source of the problem.

McKesson products are located in critical strategic hospital and retail pharmacy environments, decisions must be made to ensure maximum equipment uptime.

We expect the Summer Student Support Analyst to be able to answer incoming calls, enter detailed cases.


Section A
Specific responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Provide hardware/software support in a Windows environment.
  • Monitor the incoming call queue and answer calls to maintain established service levels.
  • Record and/or maintain accurate information in the ticketing system for all automation devices.
  • Properly document all customer interactions and troubleshooting actions in the department's call tracking system.
  • Manage open calls to ensure proper resolution time.
  • Remotely assist and support technicians in the field.
  • Proficiency in written/oral communication
  • Excellent organizational skills; Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Other duties assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • French and English conversational bilingualism oral and written
  • Teamwork always willing to help peers and supervisor achieve personal and team goals.
  • Able to work in stressful conditions
  • Flexible, creative, motivated, with good interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of remote access software (TeamViewer, Remote Desktop,...)
  • Ability to easily communicate with people from various sectors
  • Experience in robotics or biomedical equipment would be an asset.

Section C
Working conditions

  • Working hours are based on the needs of automation customers.
  • The position requires rotating shifts between 7:30 a.m. and 19:00 p.m.
  • May require additional work hours.
  • Fitness center also available in the office
  • Office showers are available

Section D
Minimum education required
- attending College with studies in computer science, electronics, robotics or equivalent.

  • Minimum of one year of experience is required, preferably in a customer service environment.
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with databases and/or experience in robotics and electronics.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
