We are an early-stage start-up led by a team from Uber, McKinsey, and a diverse set of other industries and notable companies.

We are backed by world-class venture investors, have launched in cities across Canada and USA, and are growing to new cities across the globe.


We are looking to add to our team and are searching for full-time Client Manager & Outside Sales across the GTA.

You will play a key role in working with landlords to onboard and verify their property details on our website in addition to overseeing visits between tenants and landlords.

You will be able to answer any questions they may have and will quickly relay important information back to the sales or operations team.

This role is also expected to build relationships with customers and equip them with market data to make the best decisions based on their requirements.


Landlords and tenants work with us predominantly online and this is a crucial role as you will be the face that landlords and tenants associate with our company.

We are looking for someone who has excellent interpersonal skills, confident, strong verbal communication skills, and comfortable using technology.


Summary of Tasks:


  • Create meaningful connections with landlords and tenants by proactively addressing their needs and representing the Placeholder brand
  • Travel to warehouse locations daily across the GTA to verify new properties, and confirm property details through our internal tools
  • Work closely with our sales team to identify top quality landlords and tenants
  • Communicate proactively with our operations team on how visits went, relay quickly any issues or interest in proceeding with an offer
  • Speak up and share feedback on how processes can be improved to achieve our goals we're a startup and looking for someone to provide insight into how we can do things better and more efficiently
  • Learn warehouse vocabulary and typical industries that prospective tenants may work in and their needs (e.g. ceiling height, door clearance, power requirements)
  • Perform other duties as requested

Requirements & Skills:


  • Ownership mentality; desire to go above and beyond for clients and team members
  • Minimum two years of customer facing experience (real estate or sales preferred)
  • Drivers license, registered vehicle, and comfortable driving across GTA
  • Fulltime availability (8am 5pm)
  • Functional understanding of Google tools (Calendar, Mail, Docs, Maps)
  • Ability to quickly learn other platforms (Slack, Internal Tooling)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, punctual
  • Warehouse knowledge is not a requirement but is considered a bonus
