Description

KRP is seeking dedicated seasonal landscapers reporting to our Landscaping Supervisor to help ensure our commercial real estate portfolio in excess of 30 buildings and 3 million sq.

ft. of property is nurtured throughout the spring and summer months. There are (2) available seasonal positions between April 17th-Aug 31.

Shifts are Monday-Friday (early morning preferred), Seasonal full-time hours April 17th-Aug 31, and overtime pay as required.

General responsibilities may include:

Mowing, edging and fertilizing greenery
Weeding, raking, and mulching landscape beds
Trimming small trees, hedges and shrubs
Removing unwanted, dead or damaged trees
Planting shrubs, flowers and trees
Watering gardens, lawns and landscapes
Monitoring and maintaining plant health throughout the KRP campus grounds

Qualifications & Attributes:

Highschool graduate and/or college or university student and/or recent relevant landscaping or grounds keeping experience;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Physically fit to ensure duties are performed with ease;
Available for early morning start times;
Dedicated and motivated to ensure daily tasks are performed. Ready and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions throughout the spring and summer season in a fast evolving environment;
Proficient verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to ensure interaction with all our stakeholders;
Maintain safe and healthy work environment following and enforcing the KRP Safety Policy program and procedures as well as contribute to a culture that is open and respectful;
Valid drivers licence preferred;
Security check is a requirement;
Valid work permit, if necessary, in the circumstances;
Other duties as assigned from time to time.
