Britannia Fleet Services provides comprehensive trailer & truck repair, preventative maintenance, and custom fabrication to large and small fleets. We maintain and service all types of tractors, trailers, containers, and chassis.

As a fast-growing company, we are looking to add an ambitious and personable Truck Parts Advisor to join our winning team.


As the Truck Parts Advisor, you will be a crucial force in ensuring the smooth operations of the parts department by providing guidance, building rapport, and aiding our customers, service department, and technicians.


WORK HOURS:


  • Monday to Friday, 7am 4pm

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:


  • Provide reliable support to the truck and trailer parts department
  • Safeguard stock inventory against shrinkage and spot check inventories on a regular basis
  • Support technicians by securing required parts to complete work orders
  • Participate in counter sales and provide product support for customers
  • Process parts orders, including invoicing customers, entering work order into system, ordering parts, monitoring backorders, tracking shipment, receiving and packaging orders, arranging shipment and expediting purchase orders for customers as needed.
  • When required, drive for local pickup and deliveries
  • Respond to inperson and overthephone customer inquiries with urgency and professionalism
  • Keep the yard, warehouse, and sales area clean, orderly, and wellstocked.
  • Comply with the company's Health & Safety program and practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • 12 years of experience in parts and/or inventory
  • Comprehensive knowledge of heavy duty equipment/truck/trailer components and repair
  • Experience with invoicing, processing work orders or warranties is an asset.
  • Experience with shipping and receiving is an asset
  • Forklift license or the ability to operate forklift
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • A valid class "G" driver's license for the Province of Ontario
  • Reliable means of transportation to and from work

Salary:
$23.00-$26.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 42.5 per week
