Description

We are seeking a Dispatcher for a large, fast-paced trucking and heavy equipment construction company.

The successful individual would be responsible for:
All manifesting and assignment of loads, drivers, and trucks

Track drivers, plan routes, print maps (when required) for drivers.

Schedule monitoring

HR compliance

Driver retention and training management

Planning and forecasting labor shortages

Working with senior management

Fuel card management, GPS tracking management

review, code, and file incoming personnel timesheets daily

code and review snow removal timesheets.

file vehicle inspection reports daily and maintain mileage & machine hours spreadsheet and ensure completion for year end.

reporting of incidents and breakdowns to mechanics and supervisors

verification of invoicing versus ticketing

Ensure drivers are adhering to Wintec's safety policies.

Other duties which may be assigned by Operations Manager

Qualifications as follows:

Strong attention to detail

At least 3 years in a similar role

The desire to succeed in a challenging and rewarding role.

Ability to answer cell phone evenings and weekends as required (company phone to be provided)

Valid Class 5 License

Experience in service-based business an asset
