Our award-winning design-build firm is located just outside of Elmira, Ontario.Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a
Landscape Foreman/Forewoman to support our crews in Southwestern Ontario. In this role, you will manage a crew of 2-3 individuals.
You will provide crew members with onsite training in skills and methods of playground installation in line with Earthscape S.O.P.
and quality expectations.You will work with Project Managers, and Operations crew to organize material, machinery and equipment deliveries to the work site and manage receipts and bills for each site.
Additionally, you will coordinate subcontractors, liaise with general contractors on commercial sites, and act as the on-site contact for haul out/deliveries.
This is a full-time, permanent position.- Have more than five years of landscaping, construction or related experience;
- Can read and interpret scaled drawings and pay attention to all the details that make our playgrounds exceptional places for kids to play;
- Can effectively lead a crew of lead hands and labourers to install play spaces across Ontario;
- Recognize the importance of building to high quality standards we always aim to do a job exceptionally well the first time;
- Are willing to travel for a week or two (23 times/year) to installation sites across Canada/US;
- Are looking for something new, exciting and creative to be a part of; you must have an imagination and great problem solving skills;

- Are an excellent communicator; capable of being responsible, timely and thorough in coordinating schedules and timetables with subcontractors, material suppliers, staff and the client;

- Are comfortable operating all types of machinery and have a minimum G license (and preferably Class A restricted).
