Course Description/Relevant Employment Duties:
This course mainly focuses on discussing metal toxicity in human systems at the genetic, cellular, biochemical, and physiological levels, as well as discusses the socio-economic and political parameters that impact metal concentrations in local and global environments.
Lectures (two hours), tutorials (two hours); one term
Prerequisite(s): One of BIOLOGY 2B03 (or ISCI 2A18 A/B), BIOCHEM 2EE3, KINESIOL 2Y03. Completion of BIOLOGY 2C03 is recommended.
Priority will be given to students in an Honours Life Sciences program.
Preferred Qualifications:
Research and teaching experience is preferred.
- _Supplemented Fees
a) The employee may be eligible to receive supplemented fees in accordance with Schedule C of the Collective Agreement.
The actual rate of pay when in excess of the base rate of pay is deemed to include any supplemented fees owing, to the extent of the excess amount.
If the actual rate of pay is less than the sum of the base rate of pay and the supplemented fees owing, then the employee shall receive the difference.
