Reporting to the Project Manager, the Sewer Utility Locator will be responsible for performing utility locates for underground utilities including gas lines, telephone cables, water pipes, hydro structures and fibre optic telecom cables.

Our Sewer Utility Locator are trained to ensure utilities are located to both industry and Aecon standards. We provide Locators with the technology and know-how to produce accurate locates.

What You'll Do Here:

Safety Conscious and able to adhere to a highly focused safety culture
Responsible for a geographical area to complete assigned work on a daily basis
Provide accurate Locates of Sewer Laterals using the highest quality CCTV Equipment.
Responsible for maintenance of CCTV and vehicle maintenance.
Selfmotivated and highly organized to manage workloads with mínimal direction
Good verbal and written communication skills in the English language
Highly Adaptable to constantly changing technologies, methods, and procedures
Comfortable working at heights

What You Bring to the Team:

Experience with Locating is considered an assist
Comfortable working in and around sewer systems
Comfortable working at heights
Excellent Customer Service skills
Must be technically inclined and have a desire to learn
Must be willing to work outdoors in changing weather conditions, all seasons
Maintain a valid provincial driver's license and provide a driver's abstract quarterly
Must be willing to travel and work in various locations
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
This position requires working in varying heights and spaces in accordance with provincial and federal guideline
Comfortable working with computers
Evening, Weekend and Holiday work is required
