about this team

This role reports to the Director, Global Visual Merchandising & Styling and sits within the Global Brand Experience department.

Brand Experience is a core function of the Brand Marketing organization, with a sharp focus on elevating an inspired understanding of the brand and product stories that underpin and uniquely define lululemon across multiple platforms.

Comprised of the core functions of Digital Brand Experience, Retail Brand Experience, Store Design and Event Experience, this team is redefining digital and physical brand experiences by providing strategic design for the online-to-offline journeys that serve our guests and drive sales.

a day in the life:
what you'll do

The Retail Studio Coordinator oversees the operations of the Global Retail Studio, a crucial working space for the Visual Merchandising and Retail Design Innovations teams.

This space is a physical build out of a retail store and a workshop and is used to bring future strategies and innovations to life for our retail concepts.

This role will facilitate day-to-day work, support various merchandising activities and manage a smooth flow of inventory in and out of the space.

They are the first point of contact for all Retail Studio communication and are responsible for all related operations and administration of the space.

Highvolume inventory management including organization, accuracy, fulfillment, shipping/receiving, restocking/destocking, and backroom organization
Ensure that the space and samples are maintained in accordance with Asset Protection standards
Oversee, support and conduct Mock Store daytoday operations, to include booking requests, calendar management, and access/security and supporting VM buildouts/layouts
Collaborate with Sample Operations partners to make strategic decisions regarding storage and organization of weekly sample inventory flow
Partner with Facilities team to execute maintenance needs for the space and with Store Technology team to execute digital needs for the space

qualifications

12 years of coordination in a retail or inventory management environment (lululemon educator/key leader experience preferred)
Knowledge of lululemon product, including fabric, form, and function
Experience in operations with a love for workflow challenges
Aptitude for troubleshooting challenges and providing thoughtful solves when roadblocks arise; owns the Mock Store as they would their own local business
Organized, detailoriented, with excellent written communication skills

Other Requirements

Willing to lift and move product weighing up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg)
Willing to work in an environment with continuous low level noise
